About the Role

Codex is actively looking for a sales and business development executive to join our talented team.  Your primary role will be to introduce our innovative solutions to executives, virtual care leaders and providers at hospitals and health systems nationally. You will be responsible for identifying, building and closing viable targets across the country.  If you have established relationships within health systems and experience working with Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, Endocrinology and/or Cardiology,  we want to talk to you. This role requires strong communication skills, initiative and experience navigating within health systems.

What you will do

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through internal leads and cold calling.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified, national accounts
  • Conduct your own research to formulate your territory action plan and targeting.
  • Nurture early conversations with prospective clients to understand interest and prioritize the opportunity
  • Organize and facilitate presentations during in-person and virtual meetings and events.
  • Articulate differentiators and outcomes to clinics
  • Manage your prospective deals from prospect to close

What we’d like you to bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of documented sales success in a hunter role.
  • A successful, proven track record of  selling virtual solutions to Hospitals and Health Systems is required.
  • A history of winning and expanding deals.
  • Experience selling remote patient monitoring tools and/or digital health solutions is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of the cardiometabolic space. 
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build strategic relationships with Providers and Executives.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive customer communications.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to establish credibility across various health system stakeholders
  • Ability and availability to travel to prospective customer sites across the U.S.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce and Google’s suite of products.
